Vail Arts Festival

The Vail Arts Festival, renowned for its quality and variety of premier works of art, will celebrate its 28th year in 2011. This open-air street festival creates ambiance and entertainment for Vail guests in late June. The Vail Arts Festival is a juried event with mixed media artists in multiple disciplines. There are 75 leading exhibiting artists from across the nation, a majority of whom return annually, presenting in mediums including woodwork, sculpture, watercolor, oil painting, acrylic painting, drawing, metal, fiber, glass, furniture, mosaics, mixed media, jewelry, photography, and ceramics. More than 9,000 Vail guests, seven out of ten being out of state visitors, attend this three-day event.

Free, continuous outdoor entertainment, food booths, and the Creative Kingdom, an outdoor kids' experiential art tent, round out the Vail Arts Festival, validating its longstanding appeal to guests of all ages and interests.

Accommodations and restaurant specials associated with the event entice guests into Lionshead in Vail for entertainment, shopping and dining. The Vail Arts Festival provides immediate and significant return on investment for participating artists, local retailers, lodges, and businesses associated with the Vail tourism economy.

Event Dates: June 29-30, July 1, 2012

Location: Arrabelle at Vail Square; Lionshead Mall
